The CylinderMessage applet is
a visually stunning applet that will create a lasting impression
for your message. The message rolls through the applet, and
has many options for configuring the applet.
Color
Choose your color for the text and the background.
Messages
In the enter messages text box you write the
text for your message. Each line of text represents a single
scrollable part of your message. The messenger will scroll
through each line of text and then start again from the beginning.
In the enter links text box you place any hyperlinks. Each
hyperlink will be matched to its line of text in the enter
messages text box opposite. When that line of text is scrolled
in the messenger, a user will be able to click on the messenger
window and open the hyperlink. Leave a line empty to prevent
anything from happening when the user clicks on that line
of text in the message.
Animation Speed
Determines the speed of the animation in the applet, in
this case how fast each line of text is displayed in the message.
Speed of Y axis Movement
Determines the speed of rotation of the applet. The value
entered is the number of degrees of movement for the text
per frame.
Radius of Y axis movement
Determines the top and bottom points of rotation. For example
"32" means the text will be rotated 32 points above and below
it's central position.
Degree offset of Y axis morp
Determines how tall the text object will be, in degrees. For
example "6" means the pieces which form the text object will
be 6 degrees away from each other.
Y axis offset for object
Determines the central position for text object, in pixels,
from the top of the applet. If the height of the applet is
"80", then a Y axis offset value of "40"
will position the text in the center of the applet.
Target Frame
For information on using the target frame. See URL
Links and Frame Targets
Compression Ratio
Determines the compression ratio for a background image.
See Compression Ratios for
images for more info.
