A
ray of light will move across your text.
The Background color
The background color will be used as the
background for the effect if no background
image supplied. Otherwise background color
will be used as the background only during
preloading of applet.
The Text and Light Colors
Two colors provided for effect - one for
displaing text and another for displaying
rays of light.
Light settings
Speed will determine how fast light will
move (pixels per frame). Please keep in
mind that with greater speed more calculations
needed for applying rays of light, so high
speed might even slow effect down. Ray duration
will determine how long each created ray
will be displayed (in frames). Please keep
in mind that displaying of too much rays
might not only consume a lot of CPU power,
but also cause bugs if total amount of rays
will exceed 200.
Outlines width and height
X step and Y step will determine size and
orientation of each created outline. With
positive Y step outlines will be directed
to the bottom and with negative Y step -
to the top of the applet. X step will be
at maximum around left and right border
of the applet and gradually changed to zero
at the middle of the applet. X outlines
and Y outlines will determine if outlines
will be created at left/right edges of text
and/or top/bottom edges.
