The XonixMessage applet is a cool
applet with a lot of options. Give your message a spectacularly
futuristic look!
General
Set the width, height and name for your applet.
Color
Set the color of the text and the background.
Font
Select the size and type of font. This applet
support fft fonts.
Messages
In the enter messages text box you write the
text for your message. Each line of text represents a single
scrollable part of your message. The messenger will scroll
through each line of text and then start again from the beginning.
In the enter links text box you place any hyperlinks. Each
hyperlink will be matched to its line of text in the enter
messages text box opposite. When that line of text is scrolled
in the messenger, a user will be able to click on the messenger
window and open the hyperlink. Leave a line empty to prevent
anything from happening when the user clicks on that line
of text in the message.
Animation speed
Speed between changes in text of the message.
Speed of squeeze
Speed of the wave effect in the applet. As the text moves
it is squeezed in a wave motion. The speed will determine
when the text is squeezed as it moves.
Radius of squeeze
This will determine the size of the waves in the squeeze
effect, or how much the text will be squeezed. Measured in
pixels.
Degree offset of squeeze
Measured in degrees, this will determine length of the
wave.
Speed of y axis movement
Speed of rotation measured in degrees per frame. For example
"4" means Y rotation value of text object will be increased
or decreased by 4 degrees each frame.
Radius of y axis movement
Distance up and down the text will move from the center point
of the object
Degree offset of y axis move
How stretched the text object will be, distance between top
and bottom of each character
Y axis offset for object
Position of center point of object from the top of the applet
Speed of rotation movement
The speed of the rotation of the wave effect.
Radius of rotation movement
This radius will determine the maximum rotation of each character.
Degree offset of rotation
Calculates how much each character will be rotated compared
the the previous character.
Rotation offset for object
Determines the minimum rotation in degrees. If the radius
of rotation is 30 and this variable is 60 each character will
be rotated from 60 to 90 degrees.
Target Frame
For information on using the target frame. See URL
Links and Frame Targets
Compression Ratio
Determines the compression ratio for a background image.
See Compression Ratios for
images for more info.
